Jared fostered an insatiable wanderlust at his first job as a hotel receptionist and concierge, where he fielded requests and designed itineraries for eager explorers. The infectious traveler’s enthusiasm witnessed during both posts inspired a keen desire to see the world.

For the past two decades in hospitality PR, his imprint in the travel landscape has spanned the globe, from the shores of Fiji to the volcanic banks of the Galapagos Islands and the rural regions of India.

Raised in Houston, his southern hospitality is felt throughout every stage of his work, beginning with the same welcoming handshake received by a bellhop at first hello. Prior to Bellhop, Jared worked at Victoria King Public Relations for more than a decade as a publicist for elite hotels, resorts, spas, and private islands around the world— including India’s Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Costa Careyes in Mexico, Pikaia Lodge Galapagos, Chable Resort & Spa in Mexico, Laucala Island in Fiji, The Brando in French Polynesia, Robertson Lodges in New Zealand and countless others.

His duties have far reached the standard day-to-day; it has embedded a fond adoration and understanding of the cities, cultures, and people of the world.

In his spare time, Jared traverses the verdant hills of Los Angeles, crosses new restaurants off his rapidly growing gourmand list, learns about wine, watches Texas Longhorn football, and always hopes to squeeze in the ever-elusive afternoon weekend nap. He’d love to master the meticulous craft of croissants while sipping his favorite cocktail, an Anejo Manhattan.
