DANIELA PETRIDES

Daniela’s upbringing spanned the US, London, and Germany, where family members still reside. Those jumping-off points inspired a continuous exploration of the far-reaching corners of the world—mingling with the vintners of Cape Town, getting joyfully lost in the maze hallways of Istanbul’s historic Garden Bazaar, and family holidays in Italy’s majestic mountain region of South Tyrol—and afforded experiences of rich and varying cultures, people, and the ability travel has to nourish the soul. 

Prior to Bellhop, Daniela worked at Myriad International Marketing/MMGY Global for five years as a lead publicist for the German National Tourist Office, which included implementing a multi-layered promotional plan showcasing the best cities, hotels/resorts, and experiences offered throughout the country. This work also dovetailed into partnerships and collaborations with other leading hotels and resorts throughout Europe. 

Daniela speaks fluent German. When she has a moment away from her publicity duties, Daniela can be seen on tennis courts perfecting her backswing, traversing hiking trails, nosing through art books, or enjoying popcorn over new and old cinema. She adores a good siesta and dinners that begin around 10 p.m., and if she could ask Oprah one question, it would of course be, “What’s your favorite travel destination?”
